Dharma Bums is a festival celebrating creativity, connection, and courage; an intimate experience blending workshops, artistic expression, and immersive celebrations with the goal of creating a space that nurtures both inner and outer journeys.

The festival will start on the 30th of April with the celebrations of Saties birthday and end with Alicjas celebration. Check out the 5th of May

Step into a world where nature's lushness and tranquility come to life through the lens of my camera. I specialize in capturing the mesmerizing beauty of green landscapes, verdant foliage, and misty scenes that evoke a sense of serene wonder.

Format

The first 3 days will be dedicated to getting to know each other and yourself with the help of many workshops and activities, centered on the themes of the festival: fear of failure, self-compassion, and self-expression. These days will end in cozy and cuddly evenings where to decompress from the day while being entertained by spectacular performances and live music.

Saturday we will transition into celebration with a glorious party on two dancefloors.

Sunday the party will continue with the Pijama Party, directly on the shore of the lake bouncing around the pizza oven and the sauna.

The festival will take place in Pehlitz, north-east of Berlin in an enchanting lakeside location with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.

There will be a shuttle connecting the train station of Chorin with the festival grounds.

As we wish for having at least one meal a day all together at the same time we have decided to cap the capacity to 170 people. Be sure to reserve your spot in time as we will likely reach capacity.

This festival is based on co-creation.
We invite everyone not only to participate but to step into their creative potential—especially if fear or self-doubt has held them back before. If you've ever wanted to share a workshop, performance, or artistic expression but hesitated, this is the perfect space to take that leap. The heart of Dharma Bums is about embracing the fear and insecurity with self-compassion, knowing that this community is here to support and celebrate each step. If you have an idea but aren’t sure how to bring it to life, let’s explore it together. This is an invitation to experiment, take risks, and express yourself in a space of encouragement.

Sleeping

There are plenty of places for tents and a campervan area.

There is a limited availability of indoor bed spaces, get in touch in case you think you should have one.

We have plenty of tents for you to use in case it should be troublesome or costly for you to come with one yourself. Just let us know beforehand so we can assign you one.

Eating

We will have two very talented Chefs who will guide and direct a collaborative cooking symphony with delicious dishes from all around the world.

Two to three meals a day will be provided so that you can focus on enjoying the festival to the fullest.

Additionally, we will have a huge pizza oven (which we will build before the festival) where we will bake fresh bread daily and pizzas every now and then.

Please organise to bring your own dishes

An exquisite selection of juices, teas and nonalcoholic beverages will be available around the clock together with a hot water tap and a cozy teabar.

In the evenings a bar will be open with finely selected cocktails and beer from the tap to help relax and close the days.

Remember to bring your own cup and bottle.

Drinking

Extra infos

Sauna: there will be a beautiful Saunalandschaft right on the shore of the lake with a dense and creative Aufguss-Programm in the evenings and all day during the weekend.

Kindergarten: kids are welcome and there will be a self-reliant daycare managed by the parents. Let us know if you plan to bring your little monsters!

Meditation: there will be a meditation space in a calm closed space at the corners of the location grounds.

Plus ones: because of limited space we will be prioritising the people who have received an invitation directly

Buildup: If you want to take this experience to the next level come join the preparation. We will be on the grounds starting from the 25th building the pizza oven and getting the space ready for the gathering. Get in touch if you would like to join the extended festival and be part of the molding process of this unique event.

Reserve your spot

The contribution to take part in this experience is 200€, which includes all the food and non-alcoholic beverages for 5 days.

The price is already a very fair amount for what you get, but should it be too much for your pockets in this moment, reach out to us.

For those who can afford it, we are asking to pay 300€ to finance the low income tickets. Your support is very appreciated and allows open access to the event.
