Dharma Bums is a transformational & immersive community event.
30. April - 4. May 2026
It’s not a festival you attend. It’s a collective adventure you step into.
An invitation to
Open Up
As the degrees rise, the sky returns blue, and nature begins to bloom, we invite you to step out of your winter shell for the inauguration of a fantastic sun season.
The second edition of Dharma Bums is an invitation to Opening Up: to creativity, to community, and to each other.

The Vibe
loads of workshops, skillshares, shared rituals, movement, delicious tea, meditation, sauna, lake, live music, performances, dancing, good food and kids activities
Think intimate, playful, soulful, with space for both depth and delicious nonsense.
The Journey
Last year, we gathered to face our fears and practice self-compassion.
This year’s journey is centered around Trust:
How do we build it? How do we set boundaries without closing our hearts? How do we meet each other with honesty and gentleness? How do we show up when it’s uncomfortable?
Co-Creation
Dharma Bums is built on co-creation.
You don’t need to be “a facilitator” or “an artist” to contribute, you just need the willingness to try.
Join us in shaping the atmosphere.Offer a workshop, host a circle, share a performance, bring a craft corner, propose a ritual, lead a kids activity, hold space, cook, decorate, sing, tell stories, build with us.
This year's theme is trust, If you have an idea we’ll help you bring it to life.
The Location
We gather in Pehlitz, north-east of Berlin, at an enchanting lakeside site with indoor and outdoor spaces: cozy corners, open-air areas, sauna by the lake shore, and plenty of room to create.
There will be a shuttle connection between Chorin train station and the festival grounds.
Meditation Area
Following the success of last year, we’re expanding the meditation area. A calm pocket to land, breathe, reset and discover.
Alongside a quiet space for solo practice (sitting, stretching, journaling, napping, or simply doing nothing), we’ll also offer guided meditations at different moments throughout the days.
Sleeping
As last year we’re aiming for a mix of indoor and outdoor sleeping:
limited indoor dorm spots
tents + campervan area
possibility to borrow tents if needed (limited, please request early)
Food & Drinks
Food is part of the culture here: nourishing, communal, practical.
There will be two meals for brunch and dinner plus a basic self service breakfast station for early birds. Non-alcoholic drinks are included throughout the event
Tea bar all day. Evenings: bar open (beer on tap + wine options).
Helping hands
Dharma Bums is a temporary village we build and hold together.
This year, we’re making the helping out shifts more organized and coordinated than last year, so everything can run smoother.
Each participant will take two shifts during the festival (kitchen fairies, welcome team, cleaning, or keeping spaces stocked). You’ll receive all details and sign-up options closer to the event.
Family Camp
As we loved the contribution brought by having kids of all ages jumping around last year we are expanding this part with a dedicated family camping area with a curated kids program.
